3/5x - 3/4 = 1/2x +3/4
Find a common denominator: 20
Multiply both sides by 20: 3x - 3 = 1x + 3
Subtract 1x from both sides: 2x - 3 = 3
Add 3 to both sides: 2x = 6
Divide both sides by 2: X = 3
