Today in class we did our averages for our second quarter grade. The other thing we did was go to "chat" forum to talk about what questions we have for what we dont understand fully in class.

Late Post about Friday's class (1-25-08)
In todays class we went over the Hw from 1/23/08. We found out how to work with fractions and what method to use to solve them.
Example: 4/15 = a/75 this was the starting problem. 4x75 = 15xa Next you have to cross miltiply
300/15 = 15a/15 After you multiply then you divide the.

We talked about the ratios and what different ways you could have set them up.
Example: For every five wins the basketball team lost one. you could have compared wins to losses 5/1
losses to wins 1/5
or losses to total 1/6.
